The Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) programme provides an essential overview of the condition and highlights the advances in paediatric care that have resulted in increasing numbers of patients surviving into adult life. This programme is aimed at all NHS clinical staff who are not specialists in this subject but may need to care for patients with CHD in their current role.

This programme was authored by Expert clinicians (medical and nursing) in congenital heart disease. Our network Adult CHD Lead, Dr Louise Coats, was the author of the ACHD module and Kaye Walsh, our Lead Nurse, the author of the Paediatric module.
